Please join us every Thursday evening during the festival for 4 documentaries that investigate how music and performing arts can be a powerful force for social change and cultural expression in times of both war and peace. Watch as people in Sudan respond to conflict and adversity with music in “Beats of The Antonov”; embark on a journey of reclaimed cultural identity and healing through the arts in Rwanda in “Intore”; see a different side of Egypt as popular band “Les Petits Chats” plays through wars and revolutions; and finally join us during Women’s filmmakers week as we watch a circus transform the lives of disadvantaged youth in Morocco in “Pirates of Salé.”
