This stunning, deeply moving film is about the relationships that develop when the new apprentice, Youssef, is hired to work at Hasim and Mina’s atelier where Hasim makes beautiful hand-crafted caftans. The film makes bold advances in terms of the sensitive subject matter but remains restrained and culturally sensitive as it reconstructs the boundaries of love, family, honor and commitment.

This multiple award-winning film is Morocco’s 2023 Oscar entry.
