In this psychological thriller set in an unknown African country, an idealistic young female lawyer agrees to take the case of an unrepentant war criminal known as The Rebel, who became a child soldier at the age of eight. A careful and tentative game ensues as she tries to get to the truth and find a human connection with her defendant. A compelling look into the issue of child soldiers and the gray area between victim and perpetrator.

Winner of the Best Film Award at AMAA 2016 (Nigeria’s African Movie Academy Awards).
