As we are planning for our 2015 Festival and preparing for our Gala Celebration of the 25th Year, we ask: Is your membership in Friends of CFAF current?

The Cascade Festival of African Films (CFAF) is a volunteer-based film festival that is free to the public.  CFAF helps people connect to African people and cultures through film and to each other through after-film discussions.

We launched Friends of CFAF to secure financial support for ensuring that CFAF can continue to bring this beloved, one-of-a-kind festival to Portland for many years to come. Although bringing these great foreign films and fascinating directors is expensive, we are committed that participating in all this be free of charge. We rely on the generous donations of sponsors, festival committee volunteers and paying memberships in the Friends of CFAF.

MEMBERSHIP IS RENEWED on an ANNUAL basis. So this is a reminder to current Friends to renew today AND encourage others to join as well. If you renew (or join) before December the 31st 2014, your contribution is tax deductible from your 2014 taxes. To renew or join Friends of CFAF, visit 2015.africanfilmfestival.org/donate and follow the easy instructions. Or you can contribute with a check, payable to PCC Foundation with a notation on the memo line “Friends of CFAF”. Send it to: PCC

Foundation, P.O. Box 19000, Portland, OR 97280.

Thank you for supporting the Cascade Festival of African Films by becoming a Friend of CFAF– and encouraging others to enjoy the festival as a Friend too!
