Chasing his dreams of making it big as an actor, Mwas leaves behind his small rural village for the sprawling Kenyan capital of Nairobi. Mwas is headstrong, but naïve, and a few rookie mistakes land him in jail where he is befriended by Oti, a small-time crook. Although Mwas learns how to survive in the dangerous capital, he finds himself torn between his new lifestyle of theft, violence, and money and his dream of becoming an actor. Rising talent Joseph Wairimu plays Mwas, delivering a strong performance in this fast-paced crime drama.
