Everything Must Fall is an unflinching look at the #FeesMustFall movement that burst onto the South African political scene in 2015 as a protest over the cost of education. Although the movement grew into the most militant national revolt since South Africa’s first democratic election in 1994, the American media largely ignored or under-reported it. Now, thanks to Rehad Desai’s documentary, we have the full story, told by four student leaders and their Vice Chancellor, Adam Habib, at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in Johannesburg.
