Faux<\/h3>\n<p>Is a Portland-based filmmaker and storyteller whose creative journey began in the city\u2019s public libraries, where he taught himself character development, dialogue, and dramatic structure. He wrote and performed his first skit for African Culture Night before moving on to larger stage productions at the Winningstad Theatre. Drawn to the magic of cinema, Faux developed a deep love for storytelling as a tool to uplift, inspire, and provoke reflection. With over two decades in the industry, he has collaborated with Paul Haggis (<em>Crash<\/em>), the Coen Brothers (<em>The Man Who Wasn\u2019t There<\/em>), Antoine Fuqua (<em>Training Day<\/em>), and David Lynch (<em>Twin Peaks<\/em>). His directorial debut, <em>Hurricane in the Rose Garden<\/em> (2008), screened at Pan African and Slamdance Film Festivals and later secured distribution.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Film publicity
