Set in Lagos, Nigeria, This is My Desire/Eyimofe presents two parallel stories, the first about Mofe, a middle-aged factory technician who dreams of emigrating to Spain, and the second about Rosa, a young hairdresser who desires a better life for herself in Italy. Try as they might to make their dreams and desires come true, they each face obstacles and family obligations that keep them from going anywhere. How they learn to cope is what this well-made, inspirational film is all about.
