Set in Casablanca in the 1960s, <em>Adieu M\u00e8res<\/em> depicts the deep friendship of two families, one Muslim and one Jewish, during the historical period known as the \u201cblack years of emigration\u201d when Jewish families were urged by Zionists to leave their native land and emigrate to Israel. This brave and moving film celebrates harmony, tolerance and brotherhood.
