Wooden Camera, The (South Africa)

The film takes place in Cape Town and the nearby township Khayelitsha in post-apartheid South Africa. A body is tossed off a train, forever changing the lives of two 13-year-old boys who discover the corpse's worldly possessions - a video camera and a gun. Sipho takes the gun and Madiba the camera, which he covers with wood to disguise it. Their destinies are sealed.
